why?
why?
why?
to deliver what’s in my mind, it’s easier & more immediate to draw it.
drawing is a shared common tool if you have an ability to see.
it’s faster & more direct than the language that is based on words.
a peach tree bears fruits.
we taste their flesh.
we stumble on the hardness of their kernels.

2. black & white
it’s a key. no, it’s not.
it’s a bright half moon. no, it’s not.
they are two palms holding air. no, they are not.
they are green peas denied & erased.
it’s a white square. yes, it is.
it’s a new sign just invented to show a new formula. yes, it is.
is it a river? or a steam going upward?
it’s a half moon hiding in a cloud. no, it’s not. or maybe it is.
it’s a tongue. I think it is.
they are 2 dots & a horizon.
it’s a plus sign; not a cross. yes, it is.
it’s a box to contain a perfectly balanced black & white space diagonally cut.
it’s a diagram of an ancient vessel cut in half.
3. plastic molds for hand made repetition
colors in variations: violets, blues, pinks, greens & more.
shapes in variations like (tiny) pebbles on the beach .
things small mostly with words or names attached on top
play in a display case.
4. map of creative process
what is cooking?
it’s about
attitudes, abilities & feelings.
it’s also about location & time of the day.
…knowledge/(re)search/omelets in endless variations/shapes/tastes/definitive elaboration…
creative longevity? why not?
5. syrup spoon
notebooks to keep traces of magic’s mysteries before they evaporate.
(machines) & tools to scoop to drain to chop to taste a sensation.
a hand to hold a spoon & another hand to hold a pencil .
6. the association
history of cooking, private & public, placed in standard plates.
with soup cordially.
7. body language
“shrimp papaya!”
a body language saying something like “hello! good to see you!”
with no sounds.
“papaya shrimp!”
a body saying something like “ yes! that’s a good idea!”
with sounds.
hundreds of
concepts,
ideas,
sketches,
methods,
lists,
diagrams,
ingredients,
quests,
wit & work boards
invent new dishes for new words
to be spoken
by old/new humans.
