Several Disarticulations

A-muddied, we,
in the grotes. Thrumping.
Swirmed. Bundled
under the trumbles.

Moss, tree rot,
fiddleheads – “I”
afoot in the woods.

– strategic – of loss – not
losing – a retreat down
into – salamandered
souterrains – labyrinths –

Impulse. Downflow
and current. A hasp.
A tongue. A staunch.
